Helping Teaching Assistants/Madrichim Navigate a New Setting

Join Moving Traditions for a webinar on Thursday, May 23 at 1:00pm ET as we share our new program: “Kulam for Teaching Assistants/Madrichim.” This curriculum helps guide future staff members through eight essential conversations regarding their role in promoting the wellbeing and emotional development of children.
You’ll be introduced to some of the plug-and-play materials that Moving Traditions has developed, including:
- Topics including empathic listening, communication, gender codes, peer pressure, setting boundaries, giving feedback, consent, and the role of mentorship
- Session guides to designing conversations around the topic including multiple ways to explore Jewish values connected to the underlying issues
- Best practices for engaging teens in a meaningful professional development experience that will support their emotional wellbeing and support them in caring for children
